Arbor Day 2011
In partnership with the
Hamilton County Master Gardeners Association and the Noblesville City Tree
Board, on Friday, April 29th, 2011 four-hundred Red Oak
seedlings were distributed from the lawn of the historic Noblesville
Courthouse Square, as part of the 3rd Annual Arbor Day on The Square
celebration by the civic group Keep Noblesville Beautiful (KNB). The Master Gardeners provided
instruction on dividing Hostas, distributing free cuttings while they lasted,
and the Noblesville City Tree Board distributed 200 Black Oak
seedlings. Brehob Nursery donated a potted 2" caliper Sugar-Tyme
Crabapple tree that was raffled off to Jack Martin, a lucky visitor.
